Sharmishta is a passionate therapist with over seven years of experience providing individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and case management in various settings. With a Master's in Psychology from India and graduate certificates in Addictions and Mental Health, as well as in Victimology, they bring a wealth of knowledge and diverse perspectives to their practice.
Guided by a developmental and trauma-informed approach, Sharmishta integrates multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
