Family Therapy
“Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one.”
Where the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind
Family therapy is an invaluable tool for helping families address difficult issues. Our family therapy service works to strengthen relationships and communication within family units, while helping each individual develop healthy coping strategies. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space for families to work through their issues and come out stronger and closer than ever before.
Family Psychotherapy:
What to expect and how it works
Family therapy typically brings family members together for therapy sessions.
However, a family part may also see a therapist individually.During family therapy, you will:

• Evaluate your family's capacity to solve problems and effectively articulate thoughts and emotions.
• Examine family roles, rules, and behaviour patterns to uncover issues that lead to conflict – and strategies to resolve them.
• Identify your family's strengths and shortcomings, such as the ability to care for one another and the inability to confide in one another.
